Pro

The games are free and stay free. Pro is for the table: how the evening looks and sounds.

What it opens

Eight table settings — temple stone, the palace, the village floor, a monsoon veranda, kolam night, Channapatna toys, painted cloth — each with its own ground, frame, cloth, wood, felt and sounds, and its own way of celebrating a win.

A skin for every board: chalk on stone or inlaid wood for Chowka Bara, brass or granite for the tiger board, a brass or coconut-shell Pallanguzhi, printed cotton or painted wood for Pagade, and Moksha Patam, tin lithograph or Madhubani for Snakes and Ladders.

Pieces, dice and cowries in clay, brass, ivory, glass and lacquer; bone, brass, sandalwood and glass dice; tiger, gilded and black cowries. Sound sets in stone and brass.

The seasonal vault. A table for Sankranti, Ugadi, Onam, Dasara and Deepavali, each open for a month. Set one while it is open and it stays yours after.

What it never touches

Play. Every game, online rooms, chat, rematches and the boards are the same for everyone. Nobody buys an advantage.
